Distributed Resource Allocation for Human-Autonomy Teaming With Human Preference Uncertainty
Xuan Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at George Mason University, where he directs the MICO Lab, which focuses on Multi-agent Intelligence, Control, and Optimization. He received his Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University in 2020 and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego, in 2021. Dr. Wang's research interests lie primarily in the autonomy and coordination of multi-robot systems and human-robot systems, using optimization, reinforcement learning, and foundation models for large-scale systems under computation, communication, and power constraints. His honors include the IROS New Generation Star Award, the ICPS 2021 Best Paper Award, the IROS 2023 Best Paper Finalist Award on Cognitive Robots, and the Outstanding Research Award at Purdue University.
