Call for Extended Abstracts
Our workshop accepts extended abstracts (up to 2 pages excluding references) in IEEE two-column format. The submissions will be reviewed by the workshop organizers, and accepted abstracts will be given a 3-minute spotlight presentation (oral) along with poster presentations at the workshop. This is a non-archival workshop, meaning we also accept iterations on previous or ongoing work.
All submissions should be made through: EasyChair (haii-5). Note that you need to register for an account before making the submission.
Topics for submission include (but are not limited to):
- Design, verification, learning, and control for safe co-robots
- Autonomous or assisted driving
- Human-in-the-loop control of swarm robotics
- Control of wearable robotics
- Human-robot interaction (HRI) systems modeling and performance quantification
- Imitation learning and deep learning in HRI systems
- Shared control of HRI systems
- Physical HRI, cognitive and social HRI
Important Dates for Abstract Submission
- Oct 9, 2026 (11:59 pm PDT) — first submission deadline
- Oct 30, 2026 — acceptance notification
- Nov 13, 2026 — submission of final presentation slides / posters
